With the improvement of cancer therapy, the survival time and quality of life of patients have been greatly improved. However, in the meanwhile, the cardiovascular events caused by cytotoxic drugs and targeted therapy are increasing day by day, and affecting the survival and mortality of cancer patients. This attracts more and more attention. On the basis of above, onco-cardiology comes into being which aims to study the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in cancer patients. The heart disease caused by anti-tumor treatment is the focus of onco-cardiology research. Here, we review the latest advances in the research progress of antitumor treatment-induced cardiotoxicity.
