Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of the practice of mixed in-class and off-class teaching model based on "the internet plus" in physical examination. MethodsA total of 126 clinical medical students in grade 3 who had taken Clinical Diagnostics course in Southern Medical University from September 2019 to January 2020 were enrolled as the experimental group, and they were applied by the mixed in-class and off-class teaching model. On the other hand, 116 clinical medical students in grade 3 who had taken Clinical Diagnostics course from September 2018 to January 2019 were enrolled as the control group, and they were applied by the traditional teaching model of physical examination. The final tests of physical examination operation between the two groups were compared, and questionnaires were used to investigate the teaching satisfaction of the experimental group. ResultsThe total score of the final test of physical examination operation in the experimental group was (83.53±10.30) points, of which the score of chest check was (16.90±3.20) points, cardiovascular check was (16.73±3.39) points, abdominal check was (17.06±3.04) points, all the scores were significantly higher than those of the control group [(79.20±10.67) points, (15.21±3.32) points, (15.29±3.69) points, (15.90±3.32) points] (t=4.92, 6.66, 4.95, 4.31, all P<0.01). Also, the satisfaction rate of the students in experimental group was 90.48% (114/126). ConclusionThe mixed in.class and off.class teaching model has a significant effect and is more likely to arouse students′ interests, so it is worthy of promoting.
