Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a common sleep respiratory disease, which has been proved to be closely related to a variety of chronic diseases. OSAHS has a high incidence and is harmful, but the rate of missed diagnosis is very high. At present, the diagnosis of OSAHS mainly relies on polysomnography (PSG). However, there are many limitations in PSG application, and the preliminary screening by questionnaire is more efficient and convenient. STOP-Bang questionnaire is a new type and has high sensitivity for screening OSAHS. The author reviews the clinical application and improved research of the questionnaire.
