Abstract:Transcranial sonography is an important part of multimodality monitoring in critical care unit, especially the monitoring of neurological diseases. Secondary brain injury caused by cerebral trauma or cerebrovascular disease can cause disorder of intracranial pressure, cerebral perfusion pressure, cerebral blood flow, cerebral vascular automatic regulation mechanism and other disorders. A dynamic evaluation carried out by using the two-dimensional model of craniocerebral ultrasound and transcranial color doppler ultrasound combined with other monitoring parameters can provid non-invasive and real-time monitoring means for neuro-critical patients.
