Clinical application analysis of functional assessment tools for autism spectrum disorder

Abstract:The prevelance of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is increasing. Evidence based researches show that early rehabilitation training will improve the social function and long-term prognosis, which is assessed by functional assessment. However, the tools focused on functional assessment are still lacking. The current review focuses on the functional assessment tools and their clinical application of ASD, such as psychoeducational profile, verbal behavior milestones assessment and placement program, adaptive behavior assessment system.
